| Dometic recall 08e-032 rv refrig. recalls are listed for my refrigerator as a fire hazard and my unit was affected as per dometic. bright yellow powder was noted at the rear of the unit. i took it to a dealer for examination and the unit burst at the burner unit. this is the same problem that the recall is noted as a safety problem. upon contact with kim at the dometic hotline, she advised that my unit is out of warranty and will not be serviced. is this a safety recall or a warranty recall? to the servicing dealer, webbs rv in lakeside ca., 619 443-5073 it is a safety issue. the recall does not state that the unit has to be under warranty for recalls. *tr | |||

| Alpenlite 5th wheel rv 4 rim failures in 8 months of purchase. first one was from tredit under recall. two wheels from tredit( alloy), to replace the recall wheels exploded. 1 wheel from les schawb, heavy duty steel, separated at the welds and nearly hit a highway worker. *nm | |||
