I was returning from w. palm beach in my 2002 winnebago, when the right rear quarter panel with tail lights fell off somewhere in ohio. i discovered this only when i got back to my office at orrville, ohio. my winnebago has less than 10000 mile on it. i checked with the winnebago company and they knew of no recall, nor would they warrant the repairs since their warranty is for one year regardless of mileage. i thought this was unfair. my inspection revealed that only 2 small bolts held the unit together. i feel that this part was not properly designed and that is poses a safety hazard to any vehicles that would follow me or possibly a pedestrian nearby. i have pictures of the defective parts if needed. my shop employees are going to replace the piece. cosat of parts are about $ 600.00 plus labor( est. $ 500.00).*ak

The shock on my workhorse custom chassis sn 523344496 do not work properly. i have lost steering control multiple items due to purposing. the front wheels leave the ground resulting the loss of steering control.*ak i believe this problem has played a part in damaging my motorhome. i have had to be excorted, by patrol car, off the freeway as i could not do the minimum speed without losing control, i have brought this to the attention of the manufacturer many times with all the information they have requested. they remain admant about doing nothing to correct this. i have replaced all four shocks with gas charged shocks and this has solved the porpoising and had dampened the sidt to side action. this has been an ongoing problem since the vehicle was new.
