 Tl-the contact owns a 2006 yamaha road star motorcycle. the contact stated that as he started the vehicle, he noticed fuel leaking into the engine block. the failure recurred whenever the engine would become hot in combination with hot weather temperatures. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. the technician was unable to provide a remedy for the defect. the vehicle had not been repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 10. kmj

SUSPENSION - REAR

 Tl- the contact owns a 2006 yamaha road star. the contact stated that every time he takes a trip the rear shocks go out on the vehicle. when this happens it makes the rear end bounce and the motorcycle hard to control. the contact stated every 200 miles or so the rear shocks have to be adjusted. the dealer and manufacturer stated that they were unaware of this being a problem. the contact put an after market shock from progressive on the motorcycle and failure has not occurred since. the vin was not available. the failure mileage was 1000 and the current mileage was 20000.rl
