| Defect Summary | Carriage is recalling certain model year 2009-2011 cameo, carri-lite, model year 2010-2011 royals, and model year 2009 domani 5th wheel trailers with generator transfer switches. the generator transfer switch may not be manufactured or installed to the proper specification causing a potential for excessive heat build up inside the switch. | |||||||||||||||

| Defect Summary | Carriage is recalling certain fifth wheel trailers equipped with 1200-series norcold refrigerators. the population of refrigerators being addressed contains either a sensing algorithm or thermal switch to shut off power to the refrigerator when high temperatures are detected in order to prevent a potential fire. the response times of the sensor algorithm and thermal switch devices to stop power are not sufficient. | |||||||||||||||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2009 gargocraft trailer model rava 6121. while he exited the highway at approximately 45 to 50 mph he noticed the trailer was bouncing eventually the trailer crashed into the vehicle rear-end he was able to pull over examined the trailer he found the trailer bars that was connected to the vehicle hitch failed the bars separated from the vehicle hitch causing the trailer to part in half. the manufacturer advised they will not assist with the failure. the trailer was towed to the garage. the trailer does not have a mileage to report. li | |||
