 Tl-the contact owns a 1998 chevrolet corvette. she stated the vehicle was purchased used in 2005 and the passenger side front seat belt does not retract. the contact referenced recall 00v111000, seat belts:front. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer advised her that they had no records of this recall. the manufacture also advised her of the same and did not have any records if the recall was performed. the approximate failure mileage was 84,000 and the current mileage was 97,000. vwb

 Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chevrolet corvette. whenever there is any torque present, the contact hears a crunching and popping noise coming from the roof panel. the failure occurs intermittently because the laminated part of the roof is separating. the vehicle has been to the dealer six times for this failure, with the most recent occurrence on january 17, 2008. the failure has since worsened. the contact does not believe that there is a repair available for this failure. the current mileage was 22,900 and failure mileage was 3,000. updated 05/20/08. *lj the seat belt buzzer would go off at times, the passenger side door made a popping noise when it was opened. updated 05/20/08
