Changing lanes on a busy avenue at lunch time going about 30mpg car lost control from the back and ended hitting a electrical post. after taking to shop and being repaired which took over 6 months i returned to the shop due to a noise in the right rear where the accident occurred and found that the rear axle was broken. it was decided that this was the cause of the accident. *tr | |||

This is not about a specific car, rather there have been six reports this week in the corvette forum of owners who had their active handling system lock up all four wheels, pulsing violently and making their car uncontrollable. two of these owners reported this happening at about 40+ mph and had no control of the car as it entered oncoming traffic before coming to a stop. this is a very, very dangerous situation that could very easily take the lives of drivers and pedestrians. *jb |
