| You recalled some chevrolets, (impala,monte & ect) for the same problem that i'm having with my car,which is a 2001 chevrolet monte #2g1ww12e519134493. you recalled 2000-2003 last 8 #'s 1910004 through 19178238 which my car is between that. the only difference is that my vehicle has a 3.4 & the recall was for the 3.8 only. you really must recall the 3.4 also. where i took my car they said there have been a lot of the cars that where 3.4 that they have replaced. *ak *nm | |||

| Engine light came on, and the dealership could not determine a cause for problem. then, while backing up at approximately 5 mph, engine light came on, and steering control was lost. on-star representative stated that anti-theft device came on and caused the engine to shut off. *ak consumer had to use the emergency brake to stop vehicle on one occasion when the brakes failed. *slc | |||
