| Rear defogger would interfere with radio, it would cause complete static, then the defogger quit working all together. i've had it at a dealer 3 times, each time they say they have fixed it. the last time i waited 7 days before i turned it on, and low and behold no rear defogger! this is impossible!!*ak | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2001 chevrolet monte carlo. while driving at an unknown speed, the contact activated the turn signal, but it did not illuminate. the dealer and manufacturer stated that there were no recalls and nothing could be done; therefore, the contact had to pay for the repairs. the windshield wipers also malfunctioned intermittently and continuously activated. the failure mileage was 76,800 and current mileage is 77,130. updated 06/17/08. *lj | |||

| I purchased this car in 09/01 it has been a problem ever since. front end needed to be rebuilt at 1200 miles and then again at 2000 miles. air conditioner has been a constant problem (i was told i needed to park some place else) the manifold gaskets had to be replaced at 48000 miles and now the wiper switch has gone bad. the front end feels real bad, but they claim there is nothing wrong. just waiting for the front end to fall out from underneath the car on a hot, rainy, july morning. i'm going back to ford. oh yeah forgot, paint went bad 1 year after i bought it. gm says i drove through something. *jb | |||
