 2010 chrysler sebring convertible. consumer states vehicle repeatedly and inadvertently activated one or more of the remote features *tgw the consumer stated when he took possession of the vehicle, he asked the dealer could he get a key without all of the remote controls. the dealer stated that was not possible due to the on-board computer. the consumer stated on one occasion, the vehicle started while it was in the garage. fortunately, his son heard the noise and shut the vehicle off. the consumer asked the to disable at least one remote start feature, but after charging for the labor, it was discovered it could not be deactivated permanently. *jb

 Tl* the contact owns a 2010 chrysler sebring convertible. the contact stated that when accessing the driver or passenger interior or exterior doors, the window glass would release either upward or downward within an inch or less. in cold weather temperatures the interior doors would not close securely due to the window glass extending inches beyond the edge of the roof and required the occupant to manually hold the door when the vehicle was in operation. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer six times for the problem. there were several unknown repairs performed to the vehicle but to no avail. the dealer informed the contact that the failure was a manufacturer's defect and there was not a remedy available that would correct the problem. the manufacturer was notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 8,000.
