| Tl- the contact owns a 2006 dodge caravan. the contact stated that the dashboard and instrument panel lights would flicker continuously. there was an abnormal popping coming from the dashboard area and in addition, the brake and abs warning lights were illuminated. the dealer inspected the vehicle and diagnosed that there was a voltage defect. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 85,990 and the current mileage was 86,000. the vin was unavailable. kmj | |||

| The 2006 dodge caravan uses a mixture of plastic and metal brake lines. the plastic lines are not safe. a couple months ago the left rear plastic brake line busted during driving and almost cause an accident. yesterday the right rear plastic brake line busted and almost caused a crash (with family in the vehicle). the 2006 vehicle is not old; the lines should be more durable. there is no warning you've lost all your brake fluid until you push the brake pedal and it bottoms out and your vehicle doesn't stop. *tr | |||
