| Tl-the contact owns a 2010 dodge caravan. the contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, the cruise control engaged automatically and caused the vehicle to accelerate to higher speeds. the contact immediately depressed the brakes and the cruise control disengaged, slowing the vehicle down. the vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis where they advised him that the aftermarket floor mats caused the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure recurred on an intermittent basis. the manufacturer was later contacted and offered no assistance. the failure mileage was approximately 51,500. the current mileage was approximately 51,900. the vin was unavailable. kmj | |||
