| Defect Summary | Dutchmen is recalling 2,735 my 2005-2010 n'tense, victory lane, winner's circle, wild thing, four winds, and dutchmen recreational trailers. these trailers contain a fuel dispensing system with a shut-off switch which is not spark protected and is mounted in the nozzle storage compartment of the fuel dispensing system. gasoline spilled on the switch, or gasoline vapors which might build up in the vicinity of the switch during dispensing functions, may create a fire or explosion if a spark is generated by the switch. | |||||||||||||||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2010 dutchmen kodiak trailer (na). the contact received a recall notification associated with nhtsa campaign id number 10v589000 (electrical system: fuses and circuit breakers). the contact notified the manufacturer on numerous occasions and left messages pertaining to the recall; however, they were unresponsive. recently, when the manufacturer was notified the telephone number would ring and automatically disconnect the call. the contact was advised by the dealer that the manufacturer refused to authorize any model year vehicle recall remedy be performed under the campaign id number 10v589000. there was no failure mileage. js | |||
