| Defect Summary | Featherlite trailers is recalling certain trailers equipped with 1200-series norcold refrigerators. the population of refrigerators being addressed contains either a sensing algorithm or thermal switch to shut off power to the refrigerator when high temperatures are detected in order to prevent a potential fire. the response times of the sensor algorithm and thermal switch devices to stop power are not sufficient. | |||||||||||||||

| In 2004 i bough a newflat bed trailer which has four tires. i had a tire failure with less than 2000 miles. the trailer had compass tires,made by hangzhou zhongee rubber co., which i discovered has a recall. i contacted the firm representing the factory . after filling out the required forms , information , pictures, and dot codes they said they would take care of it. i asked for a voucher to replace the tires at there dealer. i have sence received a check for $218.40. that amount will only replace one tire. the question is, do i have any recorse in getting the other three tires replaced? | |||
