| The paint on the front hood has peeled right down to the metal. this has been slowly occurring for about 10 years now. ford and auto body shops say it is due to poor or no undercoat, yet ford says to bad. apparently they had a recall on this at one time but my truck was no peeling then it started a year or two after this, when reported ford said to bad as you should have come in sooner, why would you since it was not peeling. the truck has only 80,000 kilometers on it and is in great shape except for the hood. *nm | |||

| I have a 1991 ford f-150 truck with the paint peeling, i was told there was a recall on them, just last year, or the year before? the dealership here will not give me the time of day, i also found out out about about some fuel tank problems! *la | |||
| Paint chips and its not just my truck. i have seen alot of trucks like mine with the same problem. i have asked a paint specialist and he says that not that the paint has not been taken care of but because of whats under the paint. dt | |||
