| Just recently i had to have the automatic transmission rebuilt & a new planetary gear installed. there was no warning - the van just simply stopped in the middle of an intersection. reverse was the only gear that would work. if you know how i can notify ford about please advise since i purchased the vehicle used but it has less than 75,000 miles on it. at the time the transmission failed, the mileage was 72901. *ak | |||
