Defect SummaryOn certain vans equipped with sure-lok wheelchair securement systems, the sprocket teeth of the retractor assembly is out of alignment.
Consequence SummaryIn the event of a vehicle crash, the wheelchair may not be adequately secured possibly resulting in injuries to a wheelchair occupant.

 Tl- the contact owns a 2004 gmc pick up 3500. while he parked the vehicle he noticed there was no brake light when he depressed the brake pedal went to the floor. the vehicle was towed to the dealer diagnose located the failure at the retainer clip par number 15048329 the retainer chip for hydro-bust and brake switch was missing at brake pedal the clip was replaced, the brake switch was reinstalled. the dealer also road tested the vehicle and found a rattle at the steering column the lower bearing assembly was worn. the contact didn't
