Defect Summary | Certain honeywell fram racing brand hp4 and hp8 oil filters that were manufactured from may 25, 2006, through september 14, 2007, and sold for use as replacement equipment for vehicles list above. the affected filters are marked with a date code a61451 through a72571 sequentially. the date code and part number appear on the filter housing. fram racing hp4 and hp8 oil filters not bearing a date code in this range are not affected by this recall. the gasket of the oil filter becomes more pliable under high temperatures and pressures. | |||||||||||||||

Was involved in an auto mobile accident hitting a school bus head on and hit by a truck in the passenger's side bed of truck, going about 40 miles an hour. my airbag did not deploy and i hit my head on the steering wheel very hard. i believe if the airbag and seatbelt had worked properly, i would not have been injured so bad. because of the burning in my legs, badly bruised ribs. etc., they did not do any eegs. i have had a variety of problems from severe headaches to uncontrollable moodswings. i am hoping you do whatever it takes to keep your customers from experiencing what i have been dealing with; like being disabled from work at the age of 38. i would also like to note that the police report said the airbag did deploy, but we still have the vehicle to prove that it did not deploy. *tr | |||

Gm 6.5l diesel 94-2000. the fuel injection pump fuel solenoid driver fails without warning causing loss of engine power/power steering/and brakes. a recent failure while towing a 7500 trailer caused a near accident while on a curve due to the extreme difficulty in steering whine this occurs. this is a very common problem. gm has extended the warranty on the fuel injection pump but has done nothing to correct the failure of replacement parts which is very common. *la | |||

Fuel injection pump has failed and been replaced 6 times over the life of the vehicle .one failure resulted in fuel leaking on exhaust system this could have been extremly dangerous.wiper failures is an ongoing problem wich occurs intermittently and unexpectedly -very dangerous !!! my fiance also owns a 1996 gmc c1500 which has the same problem we have been told by dealer that only a select group of vehicles has a recall issued and a gm technician has told us that the same wiper circut board has been used on several different gm vehicles over a ten year span. gm should be forced to repair any gm vehicle affected by this serious safety issue and offer a refund to any customer that has had an out of pocket expense !!!!!!!*ak | |||
