| Dt*: the contact stated that the metal piece on the back of the child safety seat where the seat belt loops through had broken. the manufacturer informed the contact that there was a recall on the child safety seat, nhtsa campaign id # 05c003000; child seat: harness , but the free in-home remedy kit offered would not fix the problem because the broken metal piece is not part of the recall. the contact believes the metal piece broke due to the poor integrity of the failed part noted in the recall. *ak | |||
