| Tl* the contact owns a 2000 hyundai accent. the contact stated that the vehicle was parked with the engine shut off when the engine engaged independently. the contact stated that the key was not in the ignition at the time of the failure. the contact entered the vehicle and attempted to insert the key into the ignition but to no avail. the contact then depressed the brakes and was able to simultaneously insert the key into the ignition to shut the engine off. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostics or repairs. the manufacturer was contacted and a complaint was filed but no other assistance was offered. the approximate failure mileage was 76,126. | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2000 hyundai accent. while parked the contact noticed the engine was running on its own without the key in the ignition. the contact entered the vehicle and inserted the key in the ignition but the key would not turn. the contact applied pressure to the brake pedal and turned the key in the ignition simultaneously and was able to shut the engine off. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostics. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and a complaint was filed. the approximate failure mileage was 76,126. ds | |||

| Junk! just over the 60,000 mile warranty and just about everything you can imagine went wrong. the gas gauge does not work. the exhaust broke apart on the flex pipe. it's all one piece and costs $850 just for parts. one out of two o2 sensors are bad at $200 a pop! front wheel bearings went; one seized up and one was wobbling loose at $200 each. front and rear brakes both went at once, rotors and all. alternator also went bad which lead to new battery. gas mileage went down to 28 mpg. everything has been maintained on a regular basis and i'm still losing gas mileage. over all i think i have paid for this car at least twice!. *jb | |||

| My car 1st started smoking from the dashboard and later a fire proceeded and i have been trying get the issue resolved since 12/8 and i still have no car and my car has not been fix and hyundai denied my claim stated it was not a factory defect and i purchased the extended 5 year warrenty totaling 10 year warrenty they cant even give me an explaination of what happen all they did was write me a letter denying my claim. *ak | |||
