| During routine annual safety inspection, both front rotors were found to be wearing unevenly. the outside edge was thinning to the point of failure. the mechanic at the shop told me that he had seen this problem with wranglers numerous times. the rotors were worn to the point that they could not be machined and would need replacement at the time of next state inspection 9/9/99. repairs were quoted at 300.00 for replacement and labor of the two rotors. *mjs | |||

| Both front discs are badly pitted and rusted. for a newer vehicle with low mileage, this should not be a problem at this point. i understand that there has been a recall of jeep cherokees manufactured before 1995,so i would like to know if wranglers had a similar recall that i'm not aware of. *ak | |||
