| I have a jeep wrangler, 1995. the female end of the driver's side seat belt is no longer latching securely. the male end will self-release periodically and it requires repeated latching to secure the seat belt. this problem developed recently and will apparently require a replacement of the seat belt female end. *jb | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated that the front driver side seat belt buckle failed to stay latched. during the failure, the vehicle was not in motion. the buckle would fit in the latch but would not click. the dealership was contacted and denied to repair the defect without charging for the repair. the contact expressed that a broken spring in the seatbelt latch may be the problem. | |||
