I drove my 2010 jeep wrangler sahara unlimited through water that was sitting in a pasture that had been shredded. 30 minutes later my car was on fire. the design of the skid plate allowed the grass that was floating on the water to be pushed under the skid plate and around the catalytic converter, within 30 minutes the grass dried and caught on fire. i had 3 kids in the car on our way back from a rodio and ended up watching my jeep burn at 1:00 in the morning. chrysler will not take any responsability for this and has denied my claim. the back skid plate has a lip that dips down and allows the possabiliy of debre to be sucked up around the catalytic converter. the gas line and the transmission are right next to the catalytic converter which is dangerous. my car was a total loss luckaly we were all got out of the car without injury, i do plan on making sure this danger is known since chrysler will not take responsability for their design flaw.

Tl- the contact owns a 2010 jeep wrangler. the contact stated they have upgrade their jeep wranglers every two years since 2004. the contact stated on the 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010 models have had a problem with the horn failing. the dealer had placed an auxiliary horn on each vehicle and a relay harness. the horn and horn button on each model was replaced as well, but this did not repair the failure. the contact was by their mechanic that the problem comes from the fact that the horn is run through the radio and this is causing an electrical wiring problem. the manufacturer has now said they will no linger address the issue. the failure mileage was 50 and the current mileage was 33000.rl
