Dealer indicated that clock spring was faulty and needed replacement. was told that this was not covered under warranty and would cost $500. research has shown that chrysler extended warranty on 2008 model to 150k miles or 10 years due to faulty clock spring. it does not appear that the design flaw was corrected and i feel that this part should be covered under warranty by chrysler for all model years.

We bought two 2011 jeep wranglers in july 2011. starting in sept. we noiticed when it rains the passenger side floor and seat would get completely soaked, took it to dealer and they said it was fixed. now every time it rains both of them leak on passernger side. so i will be taking both of them back in to dealership. when i started researching this online i noticed that this is happening on several jeep wranglers, so why hasn't there been a recall involved with this??

I was a passenger riding along in a 2011 jeep wrangler that exhibited the infamous jeep death wobble, which is a violent shaking and shuddering of the vehicle and steering wheel on a completely stock vehicle with 20k miles. the driver of the vehicle then told me that this was the 3rd occurance he has experienced with his vehicle. i observed how violently the vehicle shook and was very relieved that we did not roll over nor hit any other vehicles on the road. the jeep dealership has told him repeatedly that they cannot find or replicate the problem he experienced. i am shocked that something so common and dangerous has gone unfixed all this time.

Received a recall letter l35 emissions. called to get the repairs and was told i would need to ship the jeep to another island as chrysler has no repair service on molokai. the companies should have to make arrangements with a repair service on this island. would cost over $500 to ship to oahu as they suggested.

This hardtop vehicle is experiencing significant water leakage so much so that when it rains, the entire front passenger carpet gets soaked and the water flows to the back passenger seat carpet seat as well. my concern is not only potential electrical outages/failure but also, mold and mildew. certainly not something a consumer would expect for a new vehicle with less than 500 miles!

I have a 2007 jeep compass and today my husband notice a little bit of rattling in the front end. when we rev up the engine it fades the rattling out. haven't had the chance to take it to a mechanic just yet, but reading some of the responses it seems to be a common problem (and possibly costly one) to fix which does not make me happy. vehicle currently has about 83,000 miles on it.

My jeep has a six speed manual transmission and it pops out of 2nd and 4th gear into neutral since purchased nov. 06, 2010. i called jeep and they said that it must pop out when they drive it. i am setting up an appointment. but this is a safety issue because i will be eventually rear ended. why isn't this on a recall?
