Right head light has blown at least once a year for the past six years. same is true for the front right turn signal bulb. i checked the internet and the same or similar complaint can be found on numerous occasions kia denies that there is any problem. i was on a trip one night when the head lamp blew and was very nerve racking because i feared that the other lamp blowing would leave me without any visibility. *tr

My 2006 kia sedona has had both the driver and passenger low beam headlights burn out very prematurely. i have probably replaced 9 individual headlights since i boought the car in 2006. bulbs only last 4-6 months each. h7 is the replacement bulb that is recommended and i have wasted my money countless times buying the premium bulbs only to have them burn out. took the car to kia dealer and of course they can't find a problem, but looking at multiple blog sites a lot of other people are having the exact same problem.

We own a 2006 kia sedona. we are replacing headlights at least twice a month. this is becoming quite an expense. once we change one the other blows. we have had it evaluated by a certified mechanic and he see no wiring issues, however they last bulb we took to him looked as if it had some sort of corrosion on it. either there is water getting in there or there is a contact issue with the bulb and the electrical mechanism. after reading many comments, i see i am not alone. i think kia needs to look into this. we bought this car for its safety features however, this sounds to me like a it could potenetially cause and electrical issue which could in turn cause a fire.

I purchased a 2006 kia sorrento back in february 2011. since i have purchased the vehicle i have replaced the headlights. 3 times. every failure occurred on interstate 64. i have taken the vehicle to have them changed where they have not touched the lamps and have completed a proper install. it appears that for a second the vehicle has no power and the headlights flash off then on. the headlights going on then back on is a regular occurrence. the last occurrence yesterday 6/3/2011 happened about 2 am while driving through daniel boone national forest and made the vehicle un-drivable until daytime hours when it could be safely driven to a shop for the headlights to be replaced again and left my family stranded on the side of the road unable to see to drive home for approximately some 45 miles from our home

We own a 2006 kia sedona, purchased used. we have had to replace the headlights 3 times in the past year. this is obviously some sort of product defect. this is not the first car we've owned - we have never had to replace headlights that many times in previous vehicles.

My 2006 kia sedona seems to continually blow low beam headlights. have had the vehicle 3 years and have gone through 7 bulbs. the dealer replaced the healight wiring harness on the drivers side in 2010, but claims that they can't find anything wrong with the passenger side. the turn signal bulb on the passenger side also works intermitently

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 kia sedona. upon starting the vehicle she noticed that her headlights and front turn signals were not operating. the vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where the headlights were replaced. the failure has since recurred approximately 15 times. after each failure she would either replace the lights herself or have them replaced at an independent repair shop. she also began to hear scraping noises whenever she applied the brakes so the vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop on two occasions where the brakes were replaced. she also stated the steering wheel shakes while driving approximately 65 mph. the failure mileage was 26,000 and the current mileage was 56,453. sm.

Stop lamp switch defective. received recall notice. tried for 2 months to have defect repaired, but manufacturer does not have repair parts available, so no repair can take place. safety recall states car is not safe to drive and defect may cause a crash. given the urgency or the recall the necessary parts need to be made available now. *tr

The vehicle struts with less then 75k miles (warranty covers only to 60k miles) have poor suspension. the cruise control will not set at desired speed. brake lights remain on even after the vehicle ignition is turned off; pumping the brakes will not release lights and could cause the battery to drain unless fuse is removed. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 kia sedona. the headlights on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle burn out approximately 2-3 times a year. the vehicle has been at the dealer approximately five times. sometimes the mechanics replace the bulb, and other times they will refuse. the contact believes that there is an electrical issue with the vehicle. on the last visit to the dealer, they replaced the bolt for free because the vehicle was out of warranty. the contact believes it is a manufacturer defect that should be recalled. the failure mileage was 30,000 and current mileage was 78,000.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING - HEADLIGHTS

Have replaced the headlight bulbs on my 2006 kia sedona three times in the last year. tonight both went out at once. this is a very common complaint on the web, but kia denies any problem. bulbs were not touched or allowed to touch anything but a clean glove during installation. great care was taken both times. this time will check the alternator - seems to be a common source in several blog entries. *tr

On my brand new kia sedona both headlights and one turn signal quit working. this happened with less than 500 miles on the vehicle. the problem turned out to be a bad headlight control module. this took approximately a week to get repaired. the repair was covered under warranty. *tr
