Tl-the contact owns a 2006 kia sedona. upon starting the vehicle she noticed that her headlights and front turn signals were not operating. the vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where the headlights were replaced. the failure has since recurred approximately 15 times. after each failure she would either replace the lights herself or have them replaced at an independent repair shop. she also began to hear scraping noises whenever she applied the brakes so the vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop on two occasions where the brakes were replaced. she also stated the steering wheel shakes while driving approximately 65 mph. the failure mileage was 26,000 and the current mileage was 56,453. sm.

Headlamps blowing out we have had to replace the headlamps about every 4-6 weeks and have taken it to the dealer 4 times on the head light problem and they say there is nothing wrong. so why do they keep blowing out. we have had both low beams blow out at the same time and have had to drive with the high beams wich is unsafe to on comming traffic let along unsafe for us not to have any low beams. the second problem is a steering wheel vibration that we have has been a problem since we puchased the van. the dealer had it for the 1st month we owned it and still have the problem to this day and we are really feeling unsafe driving it due to the vribration at highway speeds. my wife is terrified to even take it on the highway with our three precious children. so if i could get some feedback on these issues i would greatly appreciate it. after doing some internet research there are alot of the same problems other people are having. i am writeing this complaint so someone does not have to die due to headlights blowing out, or the steering falls apart or a part fails due to the vibration. .

The 2006 kia sedona pulled to the left since the day i bought it. the front end has been aligned numerous times and two different kia dealerships insisted that crowning of roads in my area was causing this. funny how no other vehicle i've ever had has ever pulled to the left on the very same roads. i have been told by the two kia dealerships that all vehicles drift or veer to the left when you let go of the steering wheel. again, this has not been a problem with any other vehicle i've owned in the last 20+ years. my van can now be considered a lemon because it has been to the shop five times. there was also a loud bumping noise in the front end when steering sharply to the right and downward. no service personnel at either dealership could cause the noise so, to them it did not exist. they refused to ride with me so i could demonstrate but then finally they did and they heard it! on service trip number five, they replaced bushings on the front end and the noise is gone. this vehicle still drifts or pulls or veers or meanders to the left when you turn loose of the wheel. getting someone to agree with that is an uphill battle that i have not yet won. *ak
