In 18 months my 2008 kia sedona has has continuous electrical problems, with this complaint focusing on the fact my vehicle has blown the 200 amp main fuse 4 times in 18 months, including while driving the vehicle 2 of the 4 times, causing complete loss of power and a safety issue as both times it happen while highway driving, with the dealer not being to determine the cause of the problem each and every time. they replace the fuse, run tests, and give the car back, at which point anywhere from 10 days to 6 months the fuse blows again. note this same vehicle was in and out of the dealer repair for a check engine light they were unable to turn off for more than 48 hours at a time (computer reset) for 9 months which i sued under lemon law for.

2008 kia sedona. consumer states passenger sliding door opened while driving *tgw the consumer stated she was unable to close the door, so the door had to be strapped and an adult held onto the door tightly until they reached their destination. the dealer informed the consumer she would be responsible for the repair. later on, the dealer informed her a service bulletin on the sliding door and latch had been issued and the vehicle would be repaired free of charge. the service bulletin identified the cause of the sliding door problem as improperly maintained latches. according to kia, accumulated road dirt may cause the latches to stick by impeding rotation of the latch around the pin. kia offered consumers who had experienced the problem a modified door latch kit that permits road dirt to readily exit the latch assembly to remove the cause of the door failure. the consumer stated she was never notified about the problem. the consumer has since learned, the technical service bulletin specified that the service action was a repair program, without customer notification, and the repairs were to be performed free of charge during the warranty period. *jb
