| I have three children. the youngest one is outgrowing his toddler car seat. all car seats for older children require a lap and shoulder belt to work, but this car has only a center rear lap belt. i tried to install a harness in the center, but was told by the dealer that it is impossible to install a center rear tether anchor in this car. help!*ak | |||

| Passenger side seat belt buckle. ford part number f1dz*5461202*aa. buckle quit functioning. original part was replaced 09 april 1998 ($16.93). this part failed. it was replaced 23 february 2001 ($35.33). including the original, this will be the third buckle and cable that is installed on this car. both times, i asked the dealer if there was a recall and he said there was not.*ak | |||

| This vehicle only has a lap belt for the center rear seat. i have three children and the youngest is turning four and outgrowing his toddler seat. his two older siblings sit on the sides in the rear, using the only lap-and-shoulder belts in the rear. i cannot find a booster seat that is designed to hold his shoulders when he grows past 40 lbs, and can be attached to the car with only the lap belt. what can i do?*ak | |||
