Documents from safetybeltsafe usa state all vehicles manufactured since 1989 are required to have shoulder belts in back seats. our 1990 plymouth voyager has only lap belts. i contacted the dealer (rappahannock) where the vehicle was originally purchased and was told it would cost more than the value of the van to install shoulder belts. i contacted another local dealer who stated it will be expensive and will require me to go in for an estimate. if the information from safetybeltsafe usa is true, shouldn't the cost of the installation fall on the manufacturer? *ak
