| Soon after purchacing new bridgestone tires we began to experience balance problems. the montgomery ward auto center where we purchased the tires repededly tried to get them balanced. one day while driving on the interstate, one of the tires blew out. the service department said it looked like seperation from running low pressure. this is unlikley since we check often and always inflate to the higher end of the tolerence.(for traction and treadwear) since then we've learned to have our tires checked when they seem to be out of balance.at this time we've had three of the origional four replaced due to seperation. the most recent incedent in august of this year, the replacement tire we were given was a contac by continental. we were told they don't make the tourensa anymore. we fear that the connental replacement tire has either been recalled or soon will be. also, we feel that we were sold defective tires origionally, or we wouldn't have had so many problems. our last remaining origional bridgestone tire has cracks on the sidewall. *ak( dot number: y7a6 tire size: p225-60r16 ) | |||

| Tire defect. groove developing on sidewall approximately in the middle of the brand and model lettering. looks as if the tire has been rubbing against something, but is on outside of tire. this is happening on two tires. one passenger rear, the other, driver front. possible belt separation? | |||

| Right rear sidewall had split all around after traveling 70mph when it exploded. there was no type of warning. tire blewout from inside/outside and ripped. was attached to rim. goodyear eagle ga (canada), p225/60r16 with 500 miles. not original equipment. *ak dot 0289055. *slc | |||
