Tl*the contact owns a 1984 porsche 911. the contact discovered nhtsa campaign id number 83v111000 (seat belts:front:retractor) and called the dealer. the technician stated that because the vehicle was purchased in germany and imported it into the united states, they would not assume financial responsibility for any repairs. the contact is concerned that the seat belt failure will allow his child to unlatch the seat belt and exit the vehicle while in motion. the vin was unknown. there had been no failure to date. the current mileage was 220,000. |
