| 2003 saturn vue -- service engine soon light comes on and vehicle will not move forward. recurring issue. this particular issue began december 2006 advised by dealership, tech reset light, recurred may 2007 advised by dealership wiring and/or connecter issue, august 11, 13, & 14-21, 2008 held at dealership (recurred three times) -- advised by dealership resistance low circuit/internal fault pedal sensor replaced, july 16-17 & 21-24, 2009 recurred advised by dealership 1st pedal accelerator replaced, 2nd advised broken wire behind left front kick panel - repaired throttle position. june 2010 issue reoccurred, vehicle is currently being evaluated by impartial automotive repair facility. the consequences of this on-going issue(s) is that without warning you are left stranded in the middle of the night, or in the middle of the road in need of a tow blocking traffic or in a perilous situation. this is only one of the many on-going issues that was encountered with this vehicle. the vehicle was in service more than utilized -- this vehicle is the true representation of a lemon | |||

| I own a 2003 saturn vue and the ignition keeps locking up on me. the only way to get it to work is to giggle the key. this has been going on for over a year. now the key will not turn in the ignition at all and the car has to be towed and repaired. my father has the same year make and model and has had the same problem. he had it fixed and it has started all over. saturn should stop putting faulty parts in all of their autos. *tr | |||

| Car has numerous noises which dealer says they can't do anything about. the main noise irritant source is the steering column. technician drove car with me and stated that saturn has a electronic/mechanical components that make gear-winding noises and can't be repaired. dealer refused to do anything about it.*ak | |||

| 2003 saturn vue failed to start. *kb the vehicle made squeaking noises when the consumer made a right turn, in addition to various other rumblings. the consumer experienced problems with the rotors, bearings and transmission. a special wheel bearing had to be ordered as well as a special side cover and hardware for the transmission. the coolant switch was defective. the rear wipers would stick. the gas gauge would only read 3/4 full. the air condition stopped working and the hot and cold knob did not go all the to cool. the starter was replaced which was the reason the vehicle wasn't starting. the transfer case seal was replaced. *jb | |||

| Freon leak in a/c. vue was taken in to dealership in may 2003, may 2004, and complaint filed may 2005 with the car having been in 13 times this summer 2005. dealership refuses to diagnose problem. all they do is refill freon when it leaks out. they did finally replace compressor after i wrote to saturn customer assistance ctr in tn. had car in aug 27, sept 10 and sept 17-nothing was done other than wash my car and spray deodorizer in vents to cover the smell of leaking freon. saturn assistance center confirmed via email freon discharge and re-charge with dye would be done at my last appt, 9/17/95--this was not done. the a/c has never been repaired--and saturn has tried to hide the problem. *jb | |||

| The consumer noticed the design of the air conditioner and the lower condenser are exposed to damage by rock and gravel striking from the road, the dealer and manufacturer are notified. mr the consumer feels that a sheild or device should installed to protect the unit. the consumer will also expect saturn to replace the unit regardless of the mileage should the uint fail because of damage. *scc | |||

| This car is a piece of crap. i cannot even sell it because people whomever look at it says it runs horribly. the truck doesn't accelerate properly, the gas tank float doesn't always work, there's a problem with the key getting stuck in the ignition when you attempt to start the car (if you can get it in it doesn't always turn), it makes grinding sounds when it turns, the cd player scratches your cd's, there are burning smells for no reason .... on and on and on. don't know why there has never been a recall on this vehicle. i can't afford to fix everything that goes on with it. if anyone is interested in a class action suit please email me at. *tr | |||

| I have problems with the following in my 2003 v4 manual saturn: cd player stopped working, my sunroof fell apart. i have had all four tie rod ends replaced at individual service dates, my rotors were ground last nov and now they been replaced. my tires needed to be replaced last year after about a year of ownership. *jb | |||
