I have carlisle radial st175/80r13 trailer tires on my 2002 starcraft travelstar trailer. over the weekend i had a tire blow out. basically the tread pulled away from the tire. the side wall did not give out. this was the 4th tire i had blow out from the 4 original carlisle tires that came with the camper. last year 2 tires blewout. the trailer is only 3 years old. the trailer was only 1 year and 2 years old at the time of the previous blowouts. all four tires had the tread peel away. tires were checked before each trip. air pressure was set to 50 psi cold temp. trailer weight was 350 to 550 lbs below gvwr. the first tire that blew was the back right tire and the next 3 have made there way around the trailer in a counter clockwise direction. this seems very unusual for tires to blowout like this. the temperature and speed being traveled were all different at the time of the blowouts. it seems to me that there is some type of defect with these tires. i have e-mailed carlisle but have not received a response from them.
