Model Allegro made in 2001 by Tiffin got 18 consumer complains there are 5 recalls as well as 6 service bulletins. Defect Summary | Navistar is recalling certain model year my 2001-2008 workhorse w20, w21 and w22 chassis and certain model year 2009 through 2011 monaco rv admiral, arista, monarch, and riptide recreational vehicles equipped with axles that include bosch zops or zoht pin slide hydraulic disc brakes. when combined with occasional or seasonal vehicle operation may experience calipers sticking in the applied position. this can result in abnormal heat generation at the wheel end causing brake drag. the driver would normally have warning of the brake drag if undetected by the driver. | |||||||||||||||

The recall # is 05s28 for the speed control on my rv. i took my rv in to have it repaired . the dealership disconnected the speed control and said that the repair harness would be in in the middle of december 2007. i called on the 14th of december 2007 and was told that the harnesswould not be in until march of 2008. the reason for the recall is that the speed control would cause a fire whether it was in operation or not. my rv ids a 2001 tiffin allegro with a ford chasis. please let me know if you need any more information. *tr | |||
