| I was easing into a parking space in front of a bank and was nearly stopped when my car suddenly surged forward. with a full plate glass window in front of me, i wrenched the steering wheel as fast and and as far to the right as possible and don't know how i missed the concrete pillar i then saw immediately in front of me. the next thing i knew i was in the driveway i had just used to enter the parking lot in front of the bank.i then pulled back into the parking space i had just left and got out to figure out what had happened and to see if i had caused any damage. the only real damage was a light on the lawn i had evidently knocked loose from its base and tire tracks in the grass. the only damage to my car was underneath where a screw holding some plastic parts together was lost. i am afraid to drive my car because if this happens again, i may not be so lucky; people may get killed and property may be badly damaged. | |||

| I bought my 2006 camry le back in march, 2009 and it was driving okay but up till now i have noticed that every other time when i'm driving and come to a stop on a red light and when the light turns green i step on the gas pedal and it seems like its doesnt want to go it just goes slow and the more i step on the gas pedal it makes some noise and later it picks up on the speed i really hope that you can understand what i am trying to say. i am worry that something might go wrong especially when hearing all about the recalls lately. i call the dealer where i had bought the car to ask if my car, make and model was part of the recalls but the receptionist who answered the phone said no. but i am still worried that something might go wrong.....i dont know nothing or anything about cars......please advice on what i should do?....thanks | |||

| Driver took her 90 year-old mother for an eye injection at moore eye institute in springfield, delaware county, pa. after the appointment, driver was backing slowly out of a parking space when her 2006 toyota camry suddenly accelerated hitting one vehicle, then going into a terrible reverse spin clockwise. two vehicles were hit directly, and two indirectly before coming to a stop between two suv's. there were five cars in total that sustained damage. the driver and her passenger were the only persons injured. the camry was a total loss. | |||
