After getting the third set of tires, i noticed that all four struts were leaking. the second set of tires wore out prematurely. also, the driver's side sun visor started flapping and would no longer stay up. i had to remove the visor because it started to block my view. *tr

On 10/19/2012, the windshield molding on the upper driver side was separating from the glass and was cracking in other areas. the molding was inspected by local toyota dealerships and they questioned the installation of the windshield. it was explained the car has one owner and the windshield had not been damaged or replaced. i was told i could have it repaired for $400 or come back when i experience leaking. i was not satisfied with either answer especially since the toyota plant, located in kentucky, incorrectly installed the windshield and now i am being told i have to pay for the botched installation. after researching recent tsbs, i found the 09-12 tacoma's were experiencing the same issues i have on my car. the tsb 0062-12 states the incorrect installation of the windshield/windshield molding was causing wind noise and the remedy was to replace the windshield/windshield molding. although the tsb specifies wind noise as a minor nuisance, the defect has the potential to affect the integrity of the windshield as well as other electrical components due to the faulty molding. i am requesting the tsb be expanded to cover camrys exhibiting the same symptoms and make dealers responsible for correcting the defect.
