The back wind sheild shattered into small pieces while it was parked in our apartment lot. i just opened and closed the door in the morning it is shatterd into small pieces. i went to the dealer, even though it is manufacturing or toyota's supplier issue it is not covered under warranty. it would have been a serious issue if a kid is in the car, whose car seat is facing the rear wind sheild.

Excessive frame cracking noise. has been serviced at dealership and they are telling me its a factory issue and there will be a service bulletin issued specific to problem.since the service appointment the car windshield is also making noises. the car is 2 months old with 2000miles on it and should not have to be serviced repeatedly.

I have been experiencing a knock/tap/clunk sound coming from the roof in my 2012 toyota camry se, i have reported this issue to toyota and the car has been at the dealership over 4 times to try to resolve the issue, the noise gets louder as time passes, it seams this is a structural problem and are not informing the customers as thousands of cars are being sold, with no tsb issued, taking off the headliner multiple times has created additional noises

While parking and preparing to leave the parking lot of wal mart/target in abingdon, maryland there was a thumbing noise coming from the roof. the problem is that the first payment has not been made and already there is a defect. the car was bought in wilson, nc at hubert vester toyota on 8 dec 2012. i am totally displease with the irritating and annoying noise. my wife continues to drive the car due to switching out cars to have maintenance performed. she states that the car is making the noise while driving, i want to just return the car and would like to know if that can be done prior to this incident being investigated. it is a shame for the customer to have to pay over $30k to here a thumbing noise. the car is a v6, camry se, 2012. i've spent over 160k on toyota's in the last 14 years. request assisatance as soon as possible... it sounds as though ther is hail or big rain drops hitting the roof.

I went to pick up my vehicle on september 3, 2012. on the way i found the vehicle was rigid and the suspension was not working properly. when car hit various imperfections in the road there was a banging noise and the car would vibrate. i felt dizzy as during my time spent driving car. the car seems unsafe to use. this should not occur on a vehicle that cost $31k and on the first day that i am driving vehicle. in addition the steering felt more weighted on the left as opposed to the right. when i turned left there was greater resistance. i contacted the customer relations manager that same day and he indicated he felt it maybe a tire pressure problem. he then stated that i should bring the car in for service department to see what the issue is. i later discovered that the radio sound fluctuated. i had contacted the service department to confirm my appointment and discovered that an appointment was never made. i notified toyota main office and they provided me with a case # 1209050107. the main office at toyota indicated that they would contact the customer relations manager. i will be going to advantage toyota in valley stream, ny on 9/8/12. please have someone investigate the issue regarding the suspension on these vehicles. i don't want someone else to incur the same issues i have.

I recently purchase a new toyta camray xle. i wish to report a condition that exists in the design of the mechanism which holds the trunk lid in the upright position while unloading or loading articles into or outof the trunk my experience is as follows: i have put items into the trunk on occasion (its a new car), and it has always been on a level surface. once while i had raised the trunk lid in my garage it dropped done and i was able to stop it and put it back up. there is a full upright position for the trunk lid which i would assume that is the most secure position. however it is a position that is rather high to reach (i am 5' 11 tall.) it is a stretch for me. i would assume that a person of a smaller height or a child would be not able to reach this position for safety. i recently came back from the store and parked in front my home on a slight inclined driveway and opened the trunk lid to what i was use to in my garage which was level. when i reached in to remove the groceries the trunk lid fell down with great amount of speed and hit the bridge of my dose. it missed my glasses by an eighth of an inch but knocked them off. i put my hand to to my nose and it was bleeding and spent the next hour trying to stopped the bleeding since i am on aspirin therapy. we ended up going to the emg. room to see if i needed stitches. it ended up being a deep abrasion so they put some colliod material on raise up the scab to have less scarring. had my glasses shettered i would probably received more severe injuries. they wanted to do an mri exam to see if i had other injuries which i declined because of my medical work experience, l did not feel the extra cost for the mri was justified, but would have been an extra expense for someone who would not know the what value of the test in a similar situation. contacted toyota, less than helpfull. prevent further injuries.

I want to bring to your attention a concern that is primarily one of safety but which also involves poor and misleading information by toyota related to the ?blu-logic? cell-phone connection system included as a feature on my new 2012 camry hybrid. my concern stems from the fact that the blu-logic system, obviously coined to sound like bluetooth, and even listed on some dealer websites as a bluetooth connection, is misleadingly described as ?handsfree communication? and a ?handsfree solution? in the separate brochure provided by toyota. in actuality, the system as such is at best only 50% ?handsfree.? only incoming calls may be engaged in without cell phone in hand. outgoing calls may be initiated handsfree only if one?s cell phone itself is equipped with voice-activated dialing, a 4g-type feature i would estimate only a fairly small minority currently possess. so the de-facto reality of the blu-logic system is that it forces most drivers into the unsafe practice of manually initiating outgoing calls by manually dialing with cell phones in hand. but in a deceptive omission, the toyota guides do not even mention the possibility of making calls in this manner. indeed, the phone-bank rep i spoke to told me, presumably with a straight face, that it was not possible to do so, even though i have accomplished it on several occasions. it is hard not to see this omission of both service and information as a cynical evasion by toyota, part of a cost-cutting effort to appear to offer handsfree in-car cell-phone service, a la bluetooth, while actually providing an unsafe system which forces a driver to use hands to make calls. and part of this evasion appears to include a cover-up when a customer raises the issue.

On april 30th 2012 my camry 2012 was hit as i was making a uturn to pick up my son from school 35 mph /upon impact the car did not stop, went over the median, into the bush area, at the meantime i tried to put the car in park, the car did not stop, turned off the engine, the car did not stop, the car did not pick up speed, the whole time i was breaking but the car would not stop, it finally came to full stop upon impacting a tree. the police came and filled a report. was surprised to see my car on the other side of the road by a tree. my car was taken to toyota collision center in arlington tx. it took them 31 days to fix a brand new camry 2012 that was supposed to be done in 2 weeks according to them. they tell me there is nothing wrong with the car. i have driven camrys for more than 2 decades. i know if there is a problem. i contacted toyota corporate, they have sent an engineer specialist to check the car. they are not disclosing any information to me, they say you have to wait till you receive in mail. according to their engineer specialist, he says the recording box(something new with new camrys) there was more than one collision recorded. there was a time lapse! i have not picked up my car becuase i totally feel unsafe with that car!!! this had never happened to me!!! no one on earth can tell me there was nothing wrong with that car. i almost hit my son and his friend!!! the lawyers tell me since i have not hurt anyone and gotton hurt myself, there is nothing thry can do. i ask you to please help me with this case! i feel if something like this happens in the highway and i kill someone or myself, then lawyers and toyota will do something. i need help before it is too late. thank you for lisening.

The wind buffeting that occurs in this car is unbearable. this causes an unsupportable pressure that you feel in your ears and head. speaking while one of the rear windows is open is also impossible because our voices will echo.

This is a rental vehicle provided by lia toyota northampton, ma. i had been shopping and opened and close the trunk lid several times. when i returned home i parked in my driveway which has an upward slant to it. i opened the trunk lid and removed three bags of groceries from the trunk before the trunk lid closed on its own accord striking me in the face just above my nose with enough force to cause facial bleeding and a prolonged headache. a slight difference in where i was standing could have resulted in my passing out or more damage to my person. it appears that the pneumatics do not have enough strength to hold up the trunk lid on other than a flat surface. a child could lose fingers or a limb if the trunk lid closed in this manner on them.

The rear window reflects all the defroster lines when a car is behind you. so when looking out the rear window and there is 1 car you see 20 lines of lights and if there is 2 cars you see 40 lines of lights and so on. this clearly does not let you see out of rear window clearly. it is also very distracting and can cause an accident since you can not see out of your rear window
