SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC

We have a 2002 winnebago sightseer. we have had multiple problems with noises that it makes (squeeking/brake oil smells, etc). we understand their is a recall, but we have followed through with workhorse and winnebago and they say are particular model was not recalled. however, on sunday we were traveling home from a 60 mile distance...when we came up on traffic and had to stop. we had to press the break pedal all the way to the floor, and we were not stopping. finally, after pumping the breaks we stopped. we are taking our motorhome in for service tomorrow, as it is absolutely too scarey to drive.
