| Window regulators (all windows) fail on a regular basis due to manufacture design in equipment. if window stops working in the open position your stuck until repaired. the repair lasts a short time and then the regulator breaks again. this is also a safete issue if one is in a situation were the auto needs to be lock or driven on a freeway. | |||

| Broken welds on fuel tank strap bracket on passenger side. caused bracket to fall off and gas tank to hang low to an unsafe height from the ground. dangerous to an unknowing driver who is not aware of the true danger of this failure. this is happening quite often on this '01 bmw 3 series from thread below. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=669079&highlight=gas+tank+bracket | |||

| 1. you start hearing metallic rubbing noise at the rear driver side. 2. 2001 bmw 330i left rear subframe mount damaged/ripped. accidents may happen and may not be apparent due to accident. 3.a lot of complains from this website: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=195602&page=1&pp=20 bmw claims it to be wear and tear so it is not covered for repair. *jb | |||
