| While accelerating on a highway, the car lost power and started to shake. i had to pull off on the shoulder while decelerating while cars around me were honking and driving around to pass me. i was lucky not to have been in a collision. the engine malfunction light and service engine soon light turned on. after coming to a stop on the side of the road, i turned off the car for a few minutes and restarted it - it drove fine but the service engine soon light stayed on. it has happened many times since. | |||
