| Tl-the contact owns a 1994 cadillac eldorado touring coupe (na). while the vehicle was parked she attempted to start the vehicle and heard a loud explosion. she jumped out of the vehicle and saw smoke coming from the hood. she looked under the hood and saw casket pieces. she called a mechanic and he came were the vehicle was and started it and the vehicle caught of fire. the mechanic advised her that there was a hole in the fuel injector and it was cracked in pieces. she referenced recall 04v110000, fuel system, gasoline:delivery:hoses, lines/piping, and fittings and stated she called the manufacture and was advised that this recall was for year 1995 and up. the vehicle has not been driven since the failure. the failure and current mileage were approximately 130,000. vwb | |||
