| Tl* the contact owns a 2010 cadillac srx. the contact was driving approximately 2 mph when he applied the brakes and the vehicle surged forward until crashing into another vehicle. the contact suffered injuries and was undergoing physical therapy for treatment. the vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop, but they were unable to duplicate the failure. the vehicle was repaired for the body damages. the contact also stated that the failure occurred on a few occasions prior to the crash. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but had not responded. the failure mileage was 5,700. | |||

| My wife has complained several times over the last year about sudden acceleration by her car. i did not pay much attention until she hit a car in a parking lot because her car jumped forward. no one was in the other car and my wife was not hurt. it happened again about a week ago so i took it to the dealer. they made some software adjustments suggested by general motors including one that read addressing long hesitation/delays occuring when driver coasts to around 10mph and steps into an aggressive pedel. | |||
