| 2 problems continue to persist. one is the location of the hood release handle near the floor inside left side, where the driver puts his left foot on the floor while driving. moving the foot back, the left sole edge will catch the handle and release it causing the hood to pop up to the safety catch. at high speeds i'm afraid of the safety catch failing allowing the hood to pop open causing an accident. secondly; this vehicle has too many blind spots that can easily cause a serious accident. the roof post between the drivers door and rear passenger is a good example of what i mean. a vehicle can be almost along side of you, out of site and you wont see it unless you turn your head around almost looking backwards.the mirror does not pick up the vehicle untill it's nose is by my door. that move creates another problem of hitting some one up ahead. i have not notified the dealer because i don't expect they will do any thing; from past experience i know. car was purchased at otto cadillac albany, ny | |||
