| Defect Summary | This is not a safety recall in accordance with the safety act. however, it is deemed a safety improvement campaign by the agency. vehicle description: 2001 chevrolet and gmc c-series medium duty vehicles equipped with an impco liquefied petroleum gas (lpg) conversion kit. the engine could backfire causing the inlet elbow to separate from its throttle body. | |||||||||||||||
