| Defect Summary | Certain delphi fuel pressure regulators, p/nos. fp10020-11b1, fp10026-11b1, and fp10027-11b1, sold after january 9, 2007, as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles listed above. the universal pressure regulators (upr) were produced without an o'ring and retainer. | |||||||||||||||

| Temperature gauge was reading hot engine, ,consumer started to add coolant, and there was no visable signs of leaking. a couple of days later, temperature gauge went to hot, then, within minutes it was back to normal. took to dealer, and they said intake manifold was leaking. manifold and head gasket had to be replaced. *ak | |||

| While driving at highway speeds, the vehicle will start to slow down while the gas pedal position is still the same, then speed back up, a few times the engine has died completely but has started right back up, a mechanic thinks it may be related to the gas tank and it's associated components, it could also possibly be related to the throttle linkages and control, consumer hears a cracking sound from the rear of the vehicle when the fuel tank is full. *slc | |||
