| Tl-the contact owns a 2009 chevrolet silverado 1500. while driving 40 mph the contact stated he hit a pothole and both side air bags deployed. the failure caused damage to the seat belts,the headliner and the ceiling light was hanging down. he also stated that a powder residue was in the vehicle. a police report was filed. the contact called the manufacture and was advised it would take 10 days before a engineer could check the vehicle and 120 days after looking at the vehicle before they could make a decision. the vehicle has not been check by a dealer. the contact was unable to provide a vin. the failure and current mileage were 38,000. vwb | |||
