Defect SummaryVehicle description: passenger vehicles. the lower control arm attaching brackets can crack due to fatigue and separate from the engine cradle.
Consequence SummaryIf this occurs, the transmission half-shaft could pull out of the transaxle and result in loss of power.
Corrective SummaryDealers will reinforce the engine cradle at the point where the lower control arm attaches to it.

 When left front seat or right front bucket seat are move backward or forward the small plastic inserts about 6 to 8 inches long will fall out and the seat will woble when you drive, something must be wron with the switch that cause the back rest to recline toward the rear seat.

 While making a left turn consumer heard a loud clunk and lost control of the vehicle as it fell to the street, the lower ball joint broke causing the right axle to pull apart, about 8 months later while backing out of a parking spot the left ball joint failed and the vehicle fell to the pavement. nlm

 Wheel bearing was replaced, eliminating front end vibration. rear view mirror fall off twice, once while driving almost causing an accident. front brakes or actually the tractioned control unit malfunction causing the brakes to stay on intermittently from a standing start under normal dry road condition. air conditioner leaked fumes into the interior causing a refrigerant odor, replace o rings. ignition switch replace twice, due to key could be taken out of the ignition whild driving, but at rest position the key could not be removed. car can suddenly violently downshifts, without warning , while driving at higher
