| Since i purchased a 1999 chrysler concorde new, i have had the car in the dealer over 20 times. i have numerous electrical issues, i have been stranded numerous times and i have incurred costs over the last 4 years that not only forced me to rent a car over and over, but the time lost from work is inexcusable. i have had brake failure almost resulting in a car crash. now, my car is in the dealership due to smoke smell burning wires and a computer and electrical issue. chrysler states they don't know if they willl pay for this problem. this has been happening since day one and it's dangerous. i am in fear for the safety of my family riding in this car. it is a death trap. this car should have been deemed recalled under the lemon law. i know various people who have the same car and they have had the same problems that chrysler ignores and fails to deal with it. *la | |||

| On 6/12/03 i filled out a vehicle owners questionnaire on a 1999 chrysler concorde, vin 2c3hd46r9xh766601. on 8/02/02 i purchased this chrysler concorde with 48,580 miles.on 8/15/02, i took the car back to carl gregory because of electrical problems, car leaking oil, brakes sticking, and air, heater, defrost, ventilation problems.upon arrival to carl gregory on 8/15/02 to drop the car off to be serviced there were 48,620 miles on the odometer. after receiving a phone call from carl gregory dealership stating that the car was ready. and had been serviced. after arriving and getting in the car, i noticed that the odometer had been changed, because it was now reading 48,883 miles. i then questioned paul mooney about the additional miles and was told been everything had fixed. on 4/15/03, i was back at carl gregory having electrical problems in the dashboard. and the air conditioner was blowing out hot air. in the month of may 2003, i received a recall notice about the driver's seat bolt being defective, which may break causing the seat to suddenly recline. i took the car in on 5/27/03 to have the bolt replaced. after being at the dealership for about two minutes i was told that the car was ready to go. i asked if the bolt had been replaced? i do not belive it had because it was not gone long enough. i aso had to request a customer's copy of the invoice. when i received the invoice i notice that the invoice stated that the car was gray. the car is black. please look into this matter. thank you jacqueline riley 6069 hunter ridge circle columbus, ga. 31907 journeybegin2@juno.com. *ak *scc | |||

| 1999 chrysler concorde v-6 3.2l: brakes drop to 20% power in cold weather. no warning. no brake lite on dashboard. 20% brakes are effective enough at at slow speed and initial departure from parking spot. lack of full power is not evident until full power is applied. brakes return back to 100% power after warmer weather. after prolonged cold weather, the brake pedal freezes in place. rubber boot on piston forward of brake pedal covered with rusty dust & shows possible exposure to interior water leak. in process of repairs now.*ak | |||

| I put car in reverse in parking lot and it lunged forward at full throttle with tires smoking, sideswipping one vehicle and pushed parked 2nd vehicle 30 ft into parking lot isle. my foot never left the brake pedal (used to shift), and brakes were useless in trying to stop the car. after hitting the second car (totalling it) got car stopped by slamming gear shift lever into park. this is the 3rd instance of this happening in the milwaukee area that is known to us. substancial injuries were incurred in second instance where car when through garage door with severe facial injuries. the 3rd car went through a window of a business. all 3 were 1999 chrysler products. chrysler refuses to accept any blame for the accident and sent us a form letter saying the car was okay when it left the factory. our car was a chrysler concorde lxi, the 2nd a chrysler lhs, and the 3rd a dodge neon.*ak | |||

| Brakes continuously lock, which causes tires to lock and the car skids and pitches forward. our door locks are broken and the bottom portion of the back seat is coming out from the floor. when we purchased the car, we asked the salesperson (tim white) if the car was in good condition and if this was a rental car. he said it had one owner. when i repeated this to the manager last week, he said it did. he stated that the owner was the rental company in florida. then i pointed out to the manager that one owner did not mean one driver. with it being a rental car it has had many drivers some not so careful as others. if i had been inforrmed of the cars true history and condition, i would never have purchased this automobile. *ak( dot number: ) | |||
