I was given this vehicle by my mother 2 years ago, she had many repairs done. one major repair happen when the vehicle went dead while drive in a rain storm. in the 2 years that i have had this vehicle i had to replace the gear shift cable which broke and most recently my 18 year old son was taking a left turn going approximately 10-15 miles and the transmission blew up. i had to have the car towed from md to va, when the transmission mechanic called me he said that he couldn't even roll the car to the lift, he said that the transmission literally blew up, metal parts imbedded into each other. there was never any indication that the vehicle was having a problem, no gear slipping, nothing. i am greatful that my son had just gotten off the highway and that he was not traveling at a higher speed.
