| I lost power to my speed, my brakes failed. i was able to stop the car with my emergency brake. once stopped i turned off my vehicle. once i restarted the vehicle, the light did not come on however i still did not have the speed. my transmission would not shift from 3rd to overdrive. it would stay at 3000 rpm at 55 mph. my car normally runs @ 2500rpm or less up to 60mph. i do not know what i need to deo to have this issue resolved. this is my second time experiencing this with this vehicle. i also have a 2009 chrysler pt cruiser and owned a 2006 chrysler sebring and never have experienced this. *tr | |||

| Hello i have a 2008 chrysler sebring and it constanlty has brake problems. i bought the car from a dealership in dec of 2009. i have had to put brakes on 3 times since then and i dont go long distants or drive long. i have had factory brakes put on from the chrysler dealership. the brakes always make squeeking noise all the time. i have talked to alot of other people that have chyslers and they all said the they have brake problems. i think the car needs to be repaired or recalled. | |||

| I purchased my 2008 sebring in november 2008. several months later the brakes began making squeaking noises. i have had the dealer (from which i purchased) to put 3 pair of brakes on since then. i don't travel or drive long distances, but everytime i stop the brakes make squeaking noise s and skips. also i have lots of dust to accumulate on the front driver rim. i was told to slowly pull my brake handle while driving to decrease the brake dust. | |||

| 2008 chrysler sebring touring with 9,000 miles is having brake failure problems. *nj the consumer stated on 2 occasions, she experienced brake failure while backing up. on one of those occasions, she hit another vehicle. *jb | |||
