| Drivers side seat belt latch locked and could not be released. chrysler said there were no problems with the seat belt latches in the ram 1500 2007 model but apparently i am not the first. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 dodge ram 1500 quad. the contact stated that the front driver side seat belt retractor would not function. in addition, the front passenger air bag sensor failed. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where a diagnostic test was performed and they detected a faulty oxygen sensor. the vehilce was left with the dealer where the contact was awaiting repairs to the oxygen sensor as well as other necessary repairs. the failure mileage was approximately 34,000. | |||

| 2007 dodge ram 1500 laramie - passenger side seat belt release mechanism failed - belt remained locked across chest and lap. red push button release depressed, failed to unlatch seat belt. passenger unable to release belt from fastener. belt became tighter and tighter, to the point of crushing pain. cut belt to release passenger. thank god not in an accident or imminent danger somewhere, unable to release belt to escape. *tr | |||
